No stress, it's a complicated process.

I wanted to share this little thread on how I generally approach the projects that are placed on me and my clients. Obviously, each project is different from the others, but I thought it might be useful to show more transparently how I face the challenges that are posed to me.
The aim is to provide more information for clients who are not very clear about the design processes and want to collaborate with me as both a designer and an illustrator.

1, 2, 3 Start exploring UX/UI process

Everything always starts with a briefing. It is the key part for me that helps me get as much information as possible in advance about the purpose and idea of the project. In this phase, I want to know everything about you and your project so that I can get a complete view of the objectives, scope, limits, success factors, weaknesses, etc.

This information usually consists of:

- The intent of the project
- A clear description of what needs to be designed
- Final expectations

I also like to have a call with the client where I pass the initial briefing, chat about some things in detail, or to clarify some points that I think need further investigation.

Once the briefing is established, I know 100% what the client expects and how to set up the job. This marks the beginning of a successful collaboration.

Generate Idea

The goal in this phase is to generate a large number of ideas - ideas that can potentially inspire new and better ones - that can subsequently materialize into better and innovative content. This is the time for activities like Brainstorm, Speed boat, Brainwriting, How Might We, Worst Possible Idea, etc.

Create and Deliver

This phase is about exploring and learning by doing. We will focus on creating high-fidelity mockups through the design activities carried out previously, thus managing to match business goals and those of users.
Examples of activities are Wireframing, Prototyping and Design Specs Definition.

Final Thoughts.

When I work with clients, I always do it with passion, precisely because I like what I do and I always want to do it better. I always see it as a collaboration that an assigned task. I always like to be transparent about ideas and thoughts that I believe need to be shared. This is why I believe that for a successful collaboration both parties must collaborate and share information along the way.

I hope this little thread was helpful in clearing your mind and if I have any other questions I will be happy to answer you. So don't hesitate to get in touch with me and show me your idea! I will be happy to help you and answer your questions!
